Patient Medicine management module in CTS comes in two flavors to enter or update the clinical research medicines:

• Quick Mode: The user can look up the medicine by typing the first few letters of the medicine name, CTS Intelligent form will narrow the medicine list as the user types. The user can then pick up the required medicine from the filtered list or continue typing more letters till the search is narrowed down to one, then the correct medicine name is displayed automatically.
• Group Mode The user has to pick the medicine group first, then choose the correct medicine from the group sub list.

Of course the 'Quick Mode' is the recommended one, in most of the cases the correct medicine is automatically pick up after the user enter the first few letters of the medicine name.

After entring new medicine or editing existing one, the user is directed to a detailed medicine list of that patient showing the medicine name, unit, indication, start and end dates.
